Breath of Fire II: Awakening 5.0 UI Update in Progress II
Hello everyone!
I hope everyone is doing well! I wanted to give a quick update as work on the game is taking longer than expected. I squashed the UI bug that has been plaguing me for weeks, and have begun updating all the UI throughout the game to be more uniform and look/function better than 4.1b. I am also working to utilize only Breath of Fire 1 - 6 graphics and phase out as many non-BOF graphics as I can. Characters now have portraits from BOF; however, I will rely on feedback if they should be removed or used.

As long as you are not using AI slop for the portraits. I'm all for it.
We are in agreeance about using A.I assets; I am making sure I avoid using any A.I asset. My goal is to only use assets from BOF 1-6. The portraits are actually from Breath of Fire, 6 and I am editing them as needed by hand. While the BOF 6 was a massive failure, it still has some Breath of Fire assets I'm hoping I can repurpose.
I also appreciate you sharing your thoughts on using portraits or not, as I was fighting with myself to use portraits or not for dialogue.
